Really want to know if anyone been up against a 3 series new model or old?

318 or 325 put up a fight agianst the Crossfire?

318?? i think its been a while since they made those. the 325 and 330. i think the new ones have the same size engine now but kept the same nomeclature as the old ones. i would imagine the old 330 would be a good straight line race with the crossfire, while the new one has 255 horsepower and is more in the z's straight line performance range.

 

Anything but the 330's we should have no problem with, unless its the Z4 2.5 they can run low 15's.

The later 330's that came with the 6 speeds can hit low 14's. Pretty cool car.And the 255hp ones are going to be pretty wicked, and next is the M4, 400hp 4.0L v-8. Wicked times are ahead of us.

the E46 330i, you will lose against.

the e90 325i will be a drivers race.

 

I previously owned a 2001 BMW 330ci before I bought the Crossfire roadster. I would say that the Crossfire would beat it, but the bimmer was definitely a quick car. I assume that we would lose if we were to race the new generation 330, but I guess I'll have to find out for sure!
