Default Best tire pressure for autocross

What tire pressure does anyone run for autocross? I started at 35 psi and the tires rolled right over and feathered second row of tread from outside. I have seen suggestions as high as 42 psi. Any thoughts and feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

I got bigger tires and ran same pressure-low profile and dont have issue, street tires are for the street and I swap for the races. Just saying, Woody

Got that in the works. Ran Continental DSW06 (stock size/stagger) in the ran/drizzle, odered myself some Bridgestone RE71R's for next race. Running on set of stock rims I just purchased and having powder coated. Trying to save my Foose rims for the street! Thanks Woody!

When Axing I run 38 up front and 36 in rear and I'm wearing Continental Extreme Contact. Just a normal street tire.

Thanks for the info...I will use those pressures as a starting point for next AutoX. Have the Continental DSW06 on one set of rims and the RE71R on the other...Will try both at same pressure at same AutoX and see what happens. Thanks again!
