To me that's awesome! I'm thinking about selling my roadster and getting a srt-6 or a slk55. I have customers dropping off cars for me to work on this weekend or I'd ride over with my son. I had a 11 second daily driver about 15 years ago, I'd like to have one again.....

 

If you don't want to build it ,,,I'll sell you this one.

 

That one is a bit out of my range, and I don't fit in coupes (6'6"). I think if I get a srt I'll just do pulleys and a tune, the slk..... Not sure. Most likely I'll just hang onto my roadster tho, it's ok once it gets going and she's still a baby at 50,000 miles. I still have the itch tho, maybe I should fix my single turbo rx-7 that has been in storage 20 years, lol.

 

Hey Jim...I’ll be in Marco after New Years if you are running it, I might pop over and check things out. Won’t have the cars down though. I have a roadster that broke 12 seconds if you ever get interested DualSportDad. Has all the nice mods, the proven ones. Unfortunately I am going to have to get the dreaded rear window glued back it. It let loose sometime this year and I just noticed it. Carry on fellows. I hope to move to Marco in next few years. If not, Ft Myers might be my next look...

 

We'll have to see how selling my car goes. I'd really love to have a area blue coupe like yours, I think that is one of the best looking cars ever. Too bad I don't fit in coupes!

If he runs the car while your down here and I don't have work lined for that weekend or my son your more than welcome to ride over with me in my roadster.

If you're moving to this area Marco is nice so is Sanibel, some parts of cape Coral (It's pretty much all ok, just normal homes), Alva and punta Gorda.

 

Hay Doc will be nice to see you,,,,,,,,next week going to Melbourne until after the first,,,so i will be running at Orlando if i can,, then returning to south fl for Knee replament in early Feb so some drag racing at PB until then.. got a new ECU coming next week ,,,a copy of the one i had in my black car,, just this car does not have the mods the black one had,,,i do hope for the high 10 second mark.,,,
11.7 just on V8 ,,, now exhaust,, soon ecu, soon pulley.now super cooler ,now intake, then i will need drag radials.
I would like to come over to immokalee and run the 1/8 mile ..

 

Definatly let me know when you come over to immokolee! I ran my car at immokolee, got into the 9's! Lol.

 

Hope that cloned tune works out for you. I've got the DCAI, larger throttle body and inlet sorted out in a tune but the SC cuts out when I run the 80 MM VRP SC Pulley, found a tuner out of Atlanta Race IQ Performance. Just need to find the time to get it to the dyno in KC and book some time with him.

 

i will check into your mods and see if he knows why the sc is cutting out ,, send him or me , everything you have done to it. maybe there is something we will see... jim

Hey neighbor I'm a Palm Beach resident now. The military can't tell me where to live anymore I'm ready to drag race again. I heard some one kicked me of 1st place in drag times the site by gutting their car. Now in 2nd after 11 years. Well my drag tires only have one race left. I replaced all my nitrous solenoids, the fuel pressure seems so so. I have a gauge I can run on from the OBD2 port. Next Friday is my test and tuned drag day. If all is well I might race
