Default Cal Motor Speedway 3/5/06

I'm running a time trials event on the road course at California Motor Speedway in the modified class tomorrow... Here's the track layout if anyone is interested. I'll post photos and videos when I get a chance...

Thanks mate... I'm putting on new Porterfield pads, flushing the system and some routine set-ups right now... It will be the first time on the track with the new SRT6 brake upgrade. I'm curious to see how well they perform... Fuel mixture is going to be 8 gallons of 91 octane pump gas, 2 gallons on toluene, 2 gallons of xylene, 2 gallons of Klotz Coxoc, 1/2 pint of Marvel Mystery Oil

Canon Cameras was kind enough to loan me one of their new XL H1 High Definition cameras to test, so it's going in the car. I also integrated a new headset microphone and a new noise cancellation mic to get a good audio track of the engine. You see where my priorities are LOL...

Screw the race, I want good video... LOL

Wow, that's a serious camera setup, but then I guess you would have in your business! I bet you you're loosing a few tenths a lap just lugging it round.

Looking forward to hearing how those SRT brakes perform...

HDDP... BETWEEN your FUEL mixture... and that BULKHEAD clamp system for the HD camera... looks like nothing will stop you in achieving positive results in what u prioritize... and looking at the pic of your cam/bracket system... mannn it gets my adrenaline flowing...

That is a fun road course. That's the one the SRT driving experience used. A couple of nice straight aways, and one tough turn to keep speed through, but i'm sure you'll find the apex and hit the right line.

How'd you do HDDP? Did you see that guy with the black SRT6?

Had a lot of fun at ButtonWillow. Had such a hard time on the S turns on the East loop and a few "oh ****" moments on the Off Ramp on the east loop as well, lol.

There was another guy with a crossfire limited there too! I'm embarrassed to say that the guy was riding my azz on the corners and had to let him pass me. My consolation prize was I did the same thing to a guy in an Elise. I guess the guy sucked more than me.

CONGRATS ON POPPING YOUR CHERRY !!! Especially at ButtonWillow... I hope you're hooked now... Did you get the info on the other Crossfire ? We'll have to all run together some day...

I had a TUFF day at California Motor Speedway... I hate that infield track, it's set-up for high HP cars, so I'm at a serious disadvantage... I'll post some video when I get back from San Francisco later this week... Here's a couple of shots from yesterday.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get his contact info. We got separated towards the end of the day and lost sight. I doubt if he'll be running again since he's crossfire is leased and contract is almost up and he's planning on getting a different car.
