High rpm idle
isnt the throttle also electronic?
Throttle being electronic means there is a servo opening the butterfly. Butterfly can still not close all the way when warm.
Just cannot close it by pulling on the pedal. Could tell very quickly with a scan tool or my cell phone since one of the OBD-II parameters is throttle (butterfly) position.

still does it...i don't know what else to do...getting really discouraged about my car right now
When these start to fail they can give odd symptoms.
even if it only happens on a warm start?
I believe so.
All you can do is narrow it down.
AFAIK, the throttle position sensor sends a signal to the ecu. The ecu interprets this signal, in turn operating the throttle body. You've already replaced the throttle body, and mis-interpretation of the signal by the ecu is reasonably unlikely - leaving the tps?

TPS is the throttle position sensor. Throttle body is the throttle body.

Over the pond we often call the accelerator the throttle.
I'm referring to the sensor in the accelerator pedal, which we would often call the tps.
I think they are the same.
Have you tried doing a throttle body reset?
Also, it could be the throttle position sensor starting to fail.

The only Bowden cable under my NA hood was for the hood latch.
That's an older set-up - I didn't check properly..........
