Huh. They DO look yellow, at least it looks like there are yellow relays.

In my line of work, they are way bigger than "mini" but I'm in communications electronics, not auto electronics.

You guys are freaking awesome! I owe you a beverage of your choice! Replaced both relays and is working again! And top seems to be a bit faster in operation!

Any and all help is appreciated! Only thing I did on these cars "back in the day" was oil changes. They were still very new at the time and were experiencing no problems. The dealers had to have so many "trained" techs in order to sell them. I have only had this one almost 6 months and I'm trying to get introduced all over again. I had it for a week and I had to research the "no crank/start" tipm issue. Soldered that to fix it. And now this. I hope the wife can at least get through the summer without an issue.

Thanks again for the effort!

Well, I knew it was a problem with the sequence, but Klaus had the exact answer that turned out to be "it".

I have a request - can you post exactly what relays you used? 'Cause this WILL come up again....

Thanks

This is the relay I used. Well two of them. I didn't want to tear it down to swap and test and have to go back in again. I had these from another project. Not exactly sure where I purchased them from though.

Yup, standard 30amp auto relays. They are used elsewhere in the car and in many/most cars.
