Sounds good Tdannar. My wife and I are going to make a whole day out of this. First we're starting things off with a Champagne Brunch at the local Primo's. Then we're going to take the old path of Route 66, starting in Yukon. Then we'll go over the Old Bridge at Lake Overholser. From there it's down 39th Street to Bethany, then over to May Ave.,then down to 23rd Street, over to the Capital for some photos. If time permits, we'll take The Broadway up to Edmond, then out 2nd Street to Pops. You know the rest of the Route.

Are we going to Stable Ridge Vineyards? I see 3 winerys listed . I plan on being at POPS at around 12:30 or so but I don't think everyone will be leaving from POPS. It looks like Terry is going from Sand Springs to Stroud. How about making Stable Ridge our meeting place in Stroud.

I dont believe I will be able to make it, I have family in town from Arizona, and dont ever get to see them. I will have to meet everyone next time, maybe in a few months we can do another one.

Stable Ridge is where we are headed. I have called them and they are expecting us. I told them that we should get there around 1:00 and that the Crossfire Club should be there by 2:00.

Hey Joe,

I was planning on getting to Pop's around 12:30 also - I thought about trying to meet at the winery, but wondered if everyone would be able to get the word in time...we may end up leaving someone behind. If we leave Pop's just after 1:00, we should be able to make the winery a little before 2:00. It should be cool cruisin' up 66 - I haven't had a chance to do that. Every time I go up to Tulsa, I'm in a time crunch and need to take I-44...

See everyone tomorrow!

Hey Joe and OKC-XFR, my wife and I will see you there at Pop's @12:30 also. At least 3 of us will be "Cruising" Old 66. That will be a cool site to see.

I'm in the Tulsa Airport right now, wishing I was in my Crossfire.

Have a great meet!

We met up with Joe and his wife, John and his wife, at Pop's. We went on to Stableridge Winery, and met up with the Tulsa group...Had some fun, bought some wine, met some nice people. Saw many nice cars. Some not Crossfires, but, you cannot hold that against them... All in all, a really great day! Will try to load pictures
into Gallery. Sorry we missed you Alex, good luck with the fellowship!

I second that! My wife and I had a great time cruisin' down Route 66 with Smfrycruzr and Joejet - especially hitting triple digits while passing those slowpoke trucks ! I saw several heads turn to see the Crossfire caravan heading down the highway. Too bad we missed the tour at the winery...but it sure was a beautiful day for a get together!

I posted pics in my gallery...

See you all next time!

We had a real nice day for our 2nd meet. Rt66 is a great place to cruise, especially with a couple other Crossfire nuts. We missed all the rest of you guys, hope you can make it next time. When we got to POPs there were about 6 helicoptors parked on the grass ,looked pretty cool, but 3 Crossfires parked in the lot looked cooler.
Where to next and when.

Nice to see the folks from the western part of the state! Great turn out from Tulsa. We only had two Crossfires, but they were the right color "RED"

Sorry I did not get to talk to everyone but hope that we can get together again, soon!

You would have had a black convertible from Tulsa, but I was unable to make it. Hope I can make the next one and meet some people since I am new here.

Terry, great job on your "photo diary" https://www.crossfireforum.org/galle...y.php/cat/1244 of the wine cruise!

Thanks Terry, I wish we had taken more shots of the winery and the folks inside. We've been there so often we kind of over looked that part. Hope to see you at GTG 3 .
