Hey CTC guys!
I've been working around central Texas this week and have a couple questions.
Where is the highest hill around here and is there a windy road going to the top of it?
also,
What's up with the friggin crickets?!?

Hey there Beeper, all you're going to find around here are HILLS. There are some interesting road tho, but you need to watch out for motorcycles. check out Enchantedrocktexas.com also the THREESISTERS.com there are maps with suggested routes to look at. If you are in either Kerrville or Fredricksburg go to the visitors center and you can load up on whatever suits your fancy. I'm not very familiar with road routes around Austin or east of San Antone.
Suggest you spend a little time checking out the freebie maps rather then just riding off into the sunset.

Yeah no real mountain roads around in this area.. But for a fun quick drive you can check out River Rd that is just outside of New Braunfels. It follows along the river and is very twisty turny. Best to run it during the winter months though when most of the river outfitters are closed down and there aren't as many people around, but still a nice drive.
