several dealers have 2004 and some 2005 that have been on the lots for over a year they need to move the stock because the floor plan is eating up any profit they could make. so, they drop the price to move the vehicle we have about 9 vehicle that have been on the lot for over a year. now the cars have to be paid for, and the insurance for those vehicles is eating up the profit.

This is a used 04' Crossfire with low miles, so my thoughts were more along the lines that I had made a great deal on top of the first year of depreciation.

Another 04' newbie here, bought new w/350 miles in Dallas. I just brought the car home yesterday. I couldn't get a deal as good as some have, but I'm happy enough at $27K. It was low enough that my wife didn't force me to get the Cooper S we were looking at. :-)

Now there are only three 04's left in North Texas.

i just started a oklahoma crossfire owner thread a couple of days ago trying to get owners from my state to start getting together so we can combine efforts to find aftermarket accessories and try and get some cruises scheduled, possibly some other activities. another idea i had was to get together and go to some of these car shows that they have during the summer so that the sponsors of these things and maybe some of the parts manufacturers and distributors start looking in our direction so that we can get some xfire specific parts instead of having to either use universals or get things measured and tested all the time. maybe if they see that there is a real interest with the owners of these cars to fix them up they will start thinking more about making parts and mods for us. no more having to go to them to get things started. so if any of you have any ideas put it in here and let us all know. maybe we could all get together for the hot import nights next year or just another major car show next summer. if they see that there is money to be made off this car then they will start trying to get it. well let me know your ideas. either post it here or post it in the ok. owners thread or both. thanks for the help and hopefully one day each state will have a crossfire car club.

Hey guys. Check out my post "New crossfire owner" I should've posted a reply here but of course I didn't look around fully before posting. My post is about starting a club. Talk to you soon.

Moved here from California, drove my Belle (black 2004 Crossfire coupe) across the country on I-10.
Beautiful ride, like sitting on the sofa and watching the world go by.
I'll check back later for the club news.
Be safe out there.

I'm WAAAYYY down here in Edinburg (about 50 mi. west of Brownsville)! I wanted to start a club a little closer to home because the closest one of all of you who posted was in San Antonio and that in itself is a 250 mi. drive! I love my Graphite Metallic SRT-6 Coupe but I don't think I want to even drive THAT far to meet up for a weekend! Is anyone closer to the Rio Grande Valley??

I felt the same way, I didn't want to have to drive far for a meet, that is why I started a thread to get a GTG and hopefully get a locale club going. The first meeting, the name was voted on " Central Texas Crossfires (CTC)". The second meeting, the logo was voted on. Hopefully you can head up the South Texas Crossfires (STC). Once locale club's are established, we can have an annual GTG. I think we need a North Texas Crossfires (NTC), East Texas Crossfires (ETC) and West Texas Crossfires (WTC). Club's can be started in the NE, SE, SW, NW, North Central, and South Central Texas.

Bill
