Occasional Misfire
Occasional Misfire
'05 Base, manual, ~55k mi., runs great, owned it for ~8 years as an occasional driver.
As long as I've had it, a single misfire/hiccup/stumble will occur once or twice per drive. Not at idle but during acceleration (which is the mode of operation that I am usually in ). A while back that started happening a lot more frequently. I replaced the cam and crank position senors and it solved the issue, but not entirely. It reverted to the earlier once or twice per drive. There are no codes.
Anyone have any knowledge on this behavior?
Thanks,
Bob
