Default Sherwood Dash kit Good?

I was thinking of getting this kit for my srt-6 in red burl...

http://www.exoticwooddash.com/CHRYSL...prod14951.aspx

Has anyone ever gotten anything from them and if so was it worth it?
And does it look as good as on the picture?

To each its own. Too much wood for my taste.

I think it really cheapens the look of the car, especially since you see all the silver edges of everything, now if it gave a TOTAL wood look, then maybe. It would be better if the radio and HVAC controls were black to begin with, it doesn't look right with the silver. It just looks like cheap stickers to me.

I don't like the wood look for the Crossfire. I think silver carbon fiber would look better.

Personally I think these kits always look 'stuck-on' since they only cover the flat portions of the dash moldings and leave the chamfered edge faces exposed.

I've seen some metal kits out there, that have the fully jeweled brushed look, they look nice. Everything always looks better in pictures than in real life. I bet after a year or so the glue backing will start lifting and begin to look really cheap.

I'll tell you what I would buy... if someone can make a production quality armrest that is padded leather, to fit over the center divider I'll buy that! Everything inside the car is visually pleasing no reason to mess with it, it's just everything is so hard on the elbows and knees.

I made one and it was pretty easy, I'll try to post some pics.

I agree that it looks cheap, but I do like the real carbon fiber look, not the synthetic. The wood look is really nice if they were to cut from a sheet of real wood veneer, the synthetic stuff looks too much like plastic. But, I really do not care for the current flat metal look either.

Oh yeah?! Start another thread and post it, I'm assuming your talking about the padded armrest?

I just got a leather sewing machine, so I would like to see how you laid out the material?

I put a small towel into an oblong CD holder w/zipper to provide padding. It makes for a nice arm rest on the center divider. The CD holder is the same color as my interior, fits between the seats, is comfortable and protects the divider from wear and tear.
