Ethanol anyone?
I'm new to the Crossfire realm, and I have a question: According to the 2004 user manual, any amount of ethanol in the gasoline is "verboten"! I cannot find one gas station that sells ethanol-free gas!! Does this mean we will be experiencing nasty fuel leaks soon as the incompatible seals and o-rings become degraded? I read recently that the US Govt is contemplating increasing the allowable amount of ethanol to be raised upward from 10 percent. Any mod kits?
Thanks,

I know of no "kit" for changing your engine as it doesn't require the change. I could be wrong here.
The only change you can make is at the ballot box. Burning food in our cars is immoral and saves not a drop of imported oil. Kick the rascals that put this crap in our fuel supplies out.
They should be "verboten."

Increasing the amount of ethanol in our gas would also force local pipelines & tank farms to make substantial changes in their storage & transport methods.
In many cases the premium gas may not be mixed with Ethanol but the fact that it just might is enough to force the distributor to notify the consumer via stickers on the pumps or signs in the windows.
10% Ethanol should not harm our cars, just whack the mileage some.
