Has anybody had a problem with the engine turning off on a 2004 crossfire. Not real sure why but it seems to turn off after I've been running for awhile and lsow down in traffic or idle at a light. The check engine light comes and car will not restart. After about 10 minurtes car will restart and check engine light stays on.

Take it to one of the auto store that does OBD reading and find out what code it is throwing. Does the car crank over and just not start? Need more info on what it is doing, not doing...

MikeR, Engine cranks but will not turn over. Ignition stays in crank position unless I manually turn key back to off position. Going to local auto parts start later today to run a test and get an error code.

 

Maybe a bad ignition switch?
That could cause it not to run.
