Do Not go to a Chrysler or Mercedes dealer ... if you are not able to work on it your self find an independent local shop that works on Mercedes ... we need more information about the vehicle . you already said it's an 2004 , is it automatic or standard shift , coupe or roadster , and what part of the country do you live, city and state ... you can find a lot of good information here, I'm sure someone will be along shortly to point you in the right direction

You can find an independent shop in your area by using this site: https://www.benzshops.com/
They probably used the wrong scanner. Chrysler has no clue what to do with these cars because they're actually Mercedes mechanically. Mercedes dealers won't touch them because they are badged as Chryslers.
If you tell us your approximate location, there might be someone experienced with Crossfires in your area.
