Default Manual shifter **** removal

Does anyone know how to remove the stock shifter **** in order to replace it with a leather ****?
Any help would be appreciated.

The frame like piece at the base of the shift boot can be very easily pryed (sp?) up from the console and then the boot lifted over the shift **** to reveal the locking collar. Unscrew that to pull the entire shift ****/boot/frame assemble off. There is a second collar that secures the boot to the **** - gently pry that off with a small screw driver and you're all set.

I have pictures of everything at https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=26606 from when I took mine apart in order to get my custom shift boot, which you can see at https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=27191
