Default daytime driving lights

I would like the driving lights to illuminate with the ignition similar to the Canadian version.

Daytime running lights would have been a great thing to put on the US version. Maybe in 2005...

Why Canada get daytime running lamps? Yeah, 2005 probably. That is why I want to wait a while before I buy.

Damn, you are a patient person! I have been waiting for a full year now for my Crossfire, but not by choice. Obviously they weren't available a year ago, and I fell in love with it the second I saw what it was going to look like.

Practically, with today's fast moving product market, there will always be new features and fixes which will be followed by a body change every 4 to 6 years.

So if you like the car, I'd say buy it, cause if you are just looking for more features or better working features, the 07 version will probably have some stuff that the 05 version won't and will be better, faster, safer, etc.

I bought one of the first 300Ms to roll out of my dealership, had definite improvements over my last LH-car in terms of features, then the 2000 model came out with a better vehicle information system, 2001 year came out with auto-dropping side mirrors on reverse and 2002 year came out with the Limited, navigation system and a bunch of stuff not installable in 2001 or earlier 300Ms.

Can't win them all, but my '99 300M was a pleasure to drive, so was my '01 300M and I'm sure I'll enjoy my '05 300(?) when my lease comes up again next summer. New features coming out didn't reduce my car's performance or my enjoyment of it, would have been nice to have but I would have missed out on those years of waiting and not driving a good car.

And man, the experience of driving the Crossfire around town for the last few weeks has just been exhilarating.

OK, back to the topic, frankly, I'd like to be able to shut off my lights and with the way the DRLs are configured, there is no way to override and shut them off when you want or need to, which is my personal gripe with DRL setups.

if some one has a service manual, and some *****, I'm sure it wouldn't be to hard to wire a relay to the ebrake sensor and ignition switch so the drl's go on when the key is in the ignition and the ebrake is off, it would just be time-consuming..
