I just learned today that the Crossfire is equipped with pneumatic locks. (Taking the center console of my Roadster out to remove the cupholder - so I can put the storage bin in, I found the air line that operates the lock on the console door, Danimal had to tell me why it was there.)

Ok, now... WHY? This seems odd to me, electric locks are very reliaable and easy to work on - why pneumatic? And where is the air pump for them?

This REALLY bugs me - why???? Seems like the "long way around the mountain" to me. Running wires is so much easier, seems to me, anyway. But then, electronics is how I'v made a living for 28 years - so I WOULD think that.

Ok, NOW I know what that sound from the garage was the first week I had her here - Little Debbie wasn't wimpering cause she was scared of her new home - she was having an indentity crisis.

 

To make things worse mummy and daddy are divorced and neither one of them offers good support to their offspring who was born to a surrogate mother.
Divorce, broken home, surrogate mother, no support, almost sounds normal these days. These cars could end up in gangs prowling the streets looking for trouble.

 

The airpump is under the rear floor cover next to the passenger side frame rail.

I guess I had never given it much thought before. But subliminally, I've loved the rhythmic sound of the locks locking as apposed to the "CLACK!" the locks on my truck make.

 

One of us wise-guys should beef up the system and design a retractable paint ball cannon for the bow. The rice burners would never know what hit 'em.
