Default Leaking Oil Cap.

The oil cap on my engine leaks oil. I heard somewhere that there is a replacement cap that stops the leak. What should I do?

You need to replace your filter and install the new rubber seals that come with it. If the seals are not installed correctly your oil cap will leak. Stan

i figured it out. you pop out the rubber guard in the cap and turn it over to the non worn side. when that side wears too, you got to get a new cap tho

every new filter comes with the replacement seals....replace the 4 seals everytime you replace the filter...

the oil cap, not the one for the filter. this cap is up and to the right. it has a rubber seal in the cap.

The oil cap is #15 (see http://www.oediscountparts.com/partl...ayCatalogid=0), and there is a gasket as well, #16. Hope this is what you're looking for.
