:idea: Does anyone know if the MB AMG supercharger will fit the Crossfire engine. This would really increase the HP output.

 

Yes it will, but you will have to make other modifications to the engine for it to be able to handle the increased hp.

 

I had Kleemann do a supercharger on my CLK430, and it will flat scare you. They did an excellent conversion, on time, using EXCEEDINGLY professional tools. This conversion DID NOT void my Mercedes warranty. If you are interested, lookup Kleemann on the web. They are based in Denmark, but have an office in Colorado Springs, CO. I did NOT recieve a penny for this, I am a customer only. But if they can make my Mercedes V-8 run like a Viper, they can make your Crossfire run like a banshee I am sure. Call Brandon there, he can answer the most technical of all questions.

 

How much?

 

Since I dont work for Kleemann, I dont know what prices would be. I know what I paid for my Mercedes to be supercharged and tuned, but a Crossfire is not the exact same. I am sure Kleemann can do it, and you will never have a bit of problem with the unit afterwards, but as for pricing, call Brandon at Kleeman USA in Colorado Springs. (Kleemann roughly translates from Dutch to mean "Lucky Man" by the way. Sure make your Crossfire into one bad little boy!)

 

OK - I called Brandon at Kleemann. They have done a couple Crossfires. He says it's a SLK Conversion, fits very neatly under the hood, real sleeper. Turns the sluggish old Crossfire into about 340 hp vicious little monster when done. He has experience in conversions already. They don't ship the kit however, they only do conversions at thier shop. Drive your car out there, stay in a real nice B&B in the Springs, two days later you have a new car! For information: KLEEMANN USA Inc.
