Default TPM Calibration?

Have any techs had any problems with calibrating the TPM sensors? Tried to reset the sensors after a tire shop rotated the tires on one and the DRB3 kept saying a code was set and the code would not erase.

Are the original valve stems still in place? I heard that is where the sensor is located. If they replaced them with normal ones, the sensor could now be gone! Just an idea.

Original rims and sensors. It had a "sensor calibration failure" code and would not erase. The whole prodecure is different than the system used on domestic Chryslers and may take 2 people to do it. One to watch the screen and one to move the magnet. Domestic units honk the horn when it's time to jump to the next wheel. The Crossfire doesn't honk, just changes on the screen. This just started out as a service writer bugging me to do a freebe quicky job out in the rain. Wasn't even one of our cars. So much for trying to be a nice guy. Owner was ticked because I couldn't do a instant fix. By the way, we couldn't cover the TPM system in the intro school because DC didn't get the interface cable and DRB3 card shipped in time.

Is there a way just to disconnect the whole system? IMO it's going to be more trouble than it's worth.
