This is one of those times when I wish I could be in 2 places at the same time. You all drive safe and have an awesome time. The first weekender my Bride and I took in the car was up there. We drove up, spent the night in Luray and in the morning went through the cavern. Then we hit skyline drive and took it all the way to the end (I64). It was a fantastic drive. I know you'll love it.

 

Small world, my wife and I honeymooned in Kitty Hawk, then Williamsburg, then across to Charlottesville, up Skyline Drive and beyond to Harper's Ferry, and then home. Couple nights each place. I was great!

One of those days I'd like to take a week and start off in Front Royal and drive all the way to the end of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Probably take a week if we ended up spending a day or two around Mammoth Cave.

 

I did the whole blue ridge Parkway several years ago in my PT Crusier. Plan on doning it again in July, will be driving from Panama City, Fl to Alantic City NJ with several stops along the way one in Townsend or Towsen Md (My wife swares its Townsend.) and another in Shamong NJ (RT206) near Medford Lakes. Visiting some relatives and checking out some land. , I'll get directions before I leave.
