Default Spoiler deployment important ?

Hi...

Wondering how important the spoiler being up is from a safety perspective... is it OK to prevent it from going up as I read someone did?

Anyone know ?

Thanks...

Dave...

The spoiler is functional. It was not on the first concept car and after tests at high speed it was determined that the car got too light and unstable. So the spoiler was added for more rear downforce. The same thing happened with the Audi TT. If you want to keep the car as stable and as safe as it was designed to be, my suggestion is, don't mess with the spoiler. It's not a smart move.

Yeah... I figure it's functional... I only occasionally ever go 75-80...

Maybe that'll change... and I'll get my 1st speeding ticket in 30+ years !

My Bride and I will be up in Stafford Springs, Ct. the end of Aug. visiting some friends at their camp. We go up there every summer.
