Lower Grill Inserts
I just purchased some of the wire mesh lower grill inserts and am pretty sure they will look good once I put them on, but I can't get the OEM ones off to install the new inserts over the OEM ones. The instructions that came with them have a picture showing how you push a screwdriver through a hole in the OEM inserts and pop a clip which should release them, but I cannot seem to make that happen. Can anyone give me a hint or two on how to remove the OEM ones without destroying them??
I'm not very mechanically inclined by the way!!!!
Thanks for any help!!!

Actually once you see how they work, you can remove them by hand.
You can use a screwdriver and simply pry to one side or the other and they will pop out. Pry at the edge. Use a plastic type screwdriver or wrap a towel around it to protect the paint.
Very simply once you see how it works. James
