Then again, the side panel starts with 170 xx xxx xx, so it's a R-170 part, which is Mercedes-Benz. Germans don't care for Brits, so... that might explain it.

Somehow I had the impression that this was a UK car, but I could not verify this when I reread the posts.
One year olds and up in a front facing seat only. The front passenger air bag in these cars cannot be turned off. Any modifications to do this would be illegal I guess.
No babies in the front seat, throw them in the back with the groceries.
I would hate to have it on my conscience that she installed a part that compromised the safety of her baby.
Therefore, I'm not going to ship the part... I'll refund the postage to her and put the panel back into my stock pile.
