Unusual Movement while accerlating
I just rolled over 200K miles and just ahead of this accomplishment I started to feel a scary and almost uncontrollable movement as the car shifts from 2nd to 3rd (I use the automatic than shifting). It feels as it the car is starting a movement from right to left and it just feels out of control; its not subtle but extremely noticable movement (no jerking).
The other odd happening is occassionally going over a somewhat bumpy road, and traveling over 45MPH, the car has a similar movement and again the feel to me is "the car is out of control."
I'm not a car guy as you can tell from the very technical write up above, but does anyone have any ideas as to what is happening?
Thanks

Wish I could explain what might be the issue but have no ideas
I am proud to see you have reached 200,000 miles though.
That clearly states that these are very fine cars when cared for as you obviously have.
I hope you can determine what you are describing and share your findings with the rest of us here
Good luck

Yes, the car has been extremely fun to drive and I keep it like new! I have 2 Crossfires and the other is a convertible so I'm driving that now and the coupe is my all season car.
I don't know if it is the suspension, drive train, etc. for I'm just not a mechanic - jut love the car.

I would get your car to a shop and have them check all your suspension parts, front and rear, for loose, bent or broke parts. Also have them check out the engine and trans mounts. If it is that noticeable, they should be able to find the trouble somewhat easy.
Good luck. James

yes something in the rear suspension is loose, if you want to find it jack up one of the rear wheels get a mallet if you don't have one then a small piece of 2x4, or you can use your fist, wrap the tire kind of hard at the top and also at the side either either front or rear,, if you have movement you have loose suspension,,, mine moved almost 1 inch,, sometime jacket up and looking underneath that you can't find anything wrong but if you can smack the tire and it moves you know you have a problem,, smack it at the top and smack it on the side,, make sure you don't hit the rim. jim
Sure am glad it was fixed this easily.
