Default Where does HVAC vacuum come from?

I read the how-to about MrMopar's grey vacuum tube was broken under the battery. I checked mine at that location and it looks ok. What I'm trying to fix is my recirc door on the HVAC. I can apply vacuum on the line after the solenoid and it opens. I checked the solenoid and tell it's opening and closing. What I wanted to check next is where that grey vacuum line terminates to on the motor side. Any ideas? I don't see it referenced in the SRT6 service manual.

Thanks in advance!

I've found the issue. When the recirc door is "open" to fresh air, the actuator can't pushl the door closed. It's like the actuator arm is hyper extended when set to recirc. If I keep the door from locking down in recirculation position, it has enough strength to pull the door open. My plan is to make a small "wedge" in the inside door intake to keep the door from swinging that far down. You might think that that would cause the door to blend inside and outside air but I think the rotten foam on that door would cause more bleed by than the wedge. I'll post a pic when it's perfected...

I do believe it's the same issue as described here: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...g-windows.html

Two ideas. One would be to drill a hole in the door and install a spare adjustable hood bump stop I bought for my CF. That would give me a threaded mount with a slit at the end I could use to precisely trim the stop point out. I would have to adjust it under the outside cowling I just put back. The other idea I'm gonna try first is a rubber cap cut down the center to put over the center pane in the center of where the door rest when down. It's a narrow pane in front of the door. I wish I could put that bump stop on that center pane but it's too narrow to drill through. Thoughts?

I cut a slit down some rubber hose and wrapped that pane but the ID is to large for the diameter of the pane...

Fixed it I took that small piece of rubber hose and wedged it beneath the lip of the recirculation window. That way the hose acts like a bumper. Works like a champ!

Can you tell me where the recir door is located? My recirc no longer works and the shop manual isn't giving me any hints.

Passenger side of the dash. Behind the glovebox.
