Default MB Star DAS Crossfire compatibility problem

Hi,

i have a Xentry/Star 2012 DAS System based on a Dell 630 with a SDConnect muxer. Developer mode is on. Works perfect as long as i don't try to configurate the ecu, or other control units. That's because of the different ICAN of the Crossfire, which isn't MB conform. Has anybody solved this problem?

Thanks in advance
Markus

The difference of function between Compact 3 and Compact 4

1. star diagnosis compact 4 support wireless diagnosis

2. Compact 4 support not only KL diagnosis and three lines CAN BUS diagnosis, but also UDS diagnostic treaty.

Because the board of Compact 3 didn't contain UDS treaty chip, the hardware will be eliminated directly.

3. SD connect can do wireless diagnosis. Besides, it use Lan cable connection. So it can support more model computer.

4. Interface components used the military quickly inserted techniques that can support one million times plug, more stably.

5. All of the core components adopt new original packaged chip, plus 24 hours fatigue test, to ensure product stable release.

6. Support language: English, Germany, Franch, Italy, Spain, Portuguese, Finland, Denmark, Swedish and so on.

Hello, guys,

I know that this post has been idle for some long months/years, but anyway, I'm looking for informations regarding the same subject.
How is it possible to use a MB STAR C3/C4 (or eventually C5 / C6) to communicate with our Crossfires ?

Especially, what can we do with the MB STAR Cx interface ?

I'm pretty used to BMW cars but a real noob regarding Mercedes and Chrysler interfaces/softwares.

Can someone help me on that one ?

Thanks

Here are a couple of links about the Star system, but not specifically for Crossfire.

You are being redirected...

C3 you wont have all functions, you can see some error for top and you cant mess with tpms. You would need a drb3 or emulator.
As for the question why we can use c3 on our cars is because a lot of it is Mercedes software (no you cant use certain features or type out vin in).
C3/C4 is the only version that will work with our cars.
