Just make sure that "A113 141 01 25" is on the black plastic cover before they ship it to you .....

I will have to call them on Monday and see if they are making a mistake. I told them what I wanted and they are probably picking out a stock TB for a Crossifire I bet even though I told them what I wanted. I guess I will just use your search and ask them to pull on and check the number on it.

in my experience with Carguts, they wouldn't work with the part number only the year/model so you'll have to give them the Mercedes model (2004+ S400 maybe?) that had the 74mm TB from the factory... I did ask them to verify the part number before shipping and I ended up with the correct one

I called them and they stopped my old order. I gave them a substitute stock number from their inventory stock from alaxfire's link. Hopefully I will get the right part number. He seemed to know what I really wanted as soon as I told him I did not want the stock Crossfire throttle body. I'll see what I get in a few days.

These guys are really good to work with, believe it or not, I mistakenly ordered the 68mm one and received it. I called them and told them the problem, THEY paid for the shipping back and sent me the correct one at no charge .....

I put in the new TB, gasket along with a new larger MAF with the new sensor included. It took at least 20 minutes for the car to settle in with stalling and restarting a half dozen times. Finally idled down to where it should be and smoothed out.
I noticed a different exhaust tone know and less of the deep throaty noise that I use to have from 3-5 grand. Now I hear more of a high air pressure noise coming out of the tailpipe... It completely changed my exhaust sounds - deleting some of the deep throaty noise under heavy acceleration. I did not do any time tests and couldn't really tell if the pickup was better.

I decided to put it all back for now and wait until next summer. When the old TB and MAF were installed and the throttle reset, it started and idled perfectly the moment I started it. I figured it would have to go through the air mixture process again but it did not.

I am more concerned with the exhaust tone than getting a couple of HP. If I really lose the tuned exhuast noise I will not use the larger TB. My XF exhaust noise sounds great stock and I would hate to lose that sound since it sounds more like a big bore than a 3.2L

The guesstimation on #3 is about 20 HP, I have seen NO hard dyno documentation on this ....

I did it in this order :
1. installed the CAI - ran 3 months
2. installed the 74mm TB - ran 6 months
3. Got the EuroTune.
I was wondering I also need to upgrade the
mass air when I go to a 74mm TB?
Thanks
