Just what I was thinking Doc.. Sometimes the drains at the cowl at the back of the hood get plugged up.. and lets just say some members have reported pulling 4-5 GALLONS of water out of the car with a wet vac. A search for wet carpet should pull up plenty.. this morning even I routed a user to a thread on it (UK member).

I will search, but the car has been in dry storage for 2 years and hasn't seen rain since pulled out.

Well then never mind.. LOL... unless you've had a recent passenger with bladder control issues. Now..2 years of storage.. your's wouldn't be the first tail of mice at play if that were the case..

That is my biggest fear. I saw some evidence of mice under hood but all wires look okay, I might have missed one.

Give the car back to the dealer and they informed me the car has "low vacuum" and that is causing the misfires.

They replaced intake gaskets but that did not resolve the issue. They say it might be a cam issue now...? Doesn't seem likely in my head but what do I know.

After weeks of back and forth with Chrysler, they now want to pull the engine and check the timing marks, I am guessing they think it jumped timing... My question is how?

At this point my car has sat at the dealer for 4 weeks with no real progress. What should I do?

Did you replace the fuel filter and plugs before or after the problem? How many miles on the car?

Yes on both and after on both. They did a fuel pressure test and it came back fine.

You might have picked up some crap from your fuel and it has impeded the flow through some of your injectors. It is allowing enough fuel to run good to a certain rpm but can't supply enough for higher rpm's. It may also explain the occasional time when it clears up. I just got my crossfire so my knowledge of the car is very limited at this point. As far as the timing jumping, I think it would run poorly under 3k also.

If the dealer does not know that this is a chain drive engine, not a timing belt engine, then you best be looking elsewhere .....
