Default BAS ESP Light

Hey everybody i am new to the crossfire seen and at the same time have never owned a car newer then a 92. Recently the BAS ESP light came on, well moments after it came on when i was coming to a red light it seems as if the front right brakes are not applying. I dont know if that is what im feeling for sure, but thats what i'm assuming im feeling. Also the next day with the light still on and and the feeling that the front right brakes were not applying, i also noticed that if i were to take off pretty quickly from a stop light that the back driver side tire would rub the inside of the wheel well pretty roughly, and was also wondering if that has anything to do with the light coming on. If anybody could assist me with the problems that I am having before i go to the shop it would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem with the BAS ESP light, I was told if you turn your steering wheel (while in neutral) all the way to the left, then all the way to the right, it will reset it. It made my light turn off. Not sure about the brakes, good luck!

If I had a brake not working and a tire rubbing...I think I would want to look under the car. You might find something broken. Like a shock mount, spring. Does the car pull to the right or left when you apply the brakes? Check all your lug nuts (bolts)....you may even have a wheel loose... wheels shouldn't be rubbing...

Could be a wheel speed sensor causing the light to come on. Had it happen to me, replaced under the extended warranty. Came on a few times after that as well but has been off for the last few months.

This worked for me....BAS ESP light then went out when I turned the car off/on.
(this was all after a dead battery)

Same solution worked for me 3 years ago when I also had a dead battery,
just had to "reset" it both times. But I am knocking on wood this time that nothing changes!!!
