Hello!

i have chrysler crossfire 05 AUTOMATIC 3,2 V6

when i drive with slow pace and then i press the gas pedal harder for more power the gearbox first shift the gear down OK, but then ( when i let the pedal) the gearbox dont switch the gear up smoothly or somethimes the gearbox "freeze" dont switch the gear and I stay with no power. If this happens I must immediately stop the car and get the key off from ignition to reset.

If anybody knows how bad is this problem and how can I repair it, please write me here.

Low fluid level is the #1 cause of the problem you described.

 

how is ths possible..... In previous 2 years i was changing oil 2 times in the gearbox. Every time when the oil was changed the gearbox was doing good. Then a few months later, the gearbox was not changing gears smoth.
Is maybi problem with oil because i dont know if the mechanik give me te original oil in. ( I wanted the original one becasu it must be in gearbox).
