Intakes
Just wondering, Because everyone of the techs state different hp gains and yet nobody has stepped-up with a before and after dyno. I'll go pay for my own dyno before and after if they'll chip the thing. The cost of the dyno's will be more than the chip mod.
Actually I could probably have PowerChip do the same thing since they advertise in the 20hp gain and they are not too far from me...

Only stipulation is that I'll point my in-car camera backwards so I can get some video of you....
But if you're interested in running a canyon some night, I'll drag you along with the Mullholland Racing Assn. It is always a very late night mid-week high speed, eat-em alive 5-6 hour race with every exotic car you can imagine in LA.
We run some of the famous canyon roads in So. Cal. at break-neck speed. and always have a follow car that looks for bodyparts...Yes, this is the infamous "Mullholland Racing Association".

Now as far as your comments about dyno #'s let me see the print out from your crossfire dyno. Since you seem to have all the right answers. I want to see the proof. Then we'll compare.
No pictures, no dyno print-out, HMMM !!! sounds like a bunch of BS to me. Appears that Mr. HOBBYMANBILL is just some lurker wanna-be.
As far as driving skill... Let's see some of your race videos like the ones I've posted. I have just achieved my 5 thousandth hour behind the wheel since I began racing in 1976. And yes, if you knew the car like I do, it becomes very apparent that the rear gear ratio is too low for road-racing. 6th gear is useless with the 3.27:1 diff.
And I doubt you have even made use of that gear, OH wait... I think you're driving an automatic. Perfect car for a chick.

Hey Hobbyman, Quick Question for you sport,
Why are you going on,& on about the numbers? You have clearly stated your opinions on what you think about intakes. I think everyone here know's what you think about that particular modification.
So with that in mind, it really doesn't matter what numbers I post. It's not going to change your mind either way. Its a double edged sword. So do me ,and everyone else a great big favor, and only post something if it is constructive. Other wise keep your ideas to yourself.
To add, 200-250.00 is not what it should cost. I give you half of the system for 250.00 there tuff guy.

Well Derek is being lame, I'll dig up the Dyno Sheet for ya'll.
Also looking back at what Hobbymanbill wrote. I just want to add, I never said the pricing is based on HP gains. If that were the case then if 50.00ea HP gain, then my system would cost 600.00. However I'm not basing it on the HP, it all based on materials, and labor. 200-250 would get you about half of the system. Hobbyman I understand if 500.00 is out of your price range. Its not for everyone. I also think that maybe your not researching the market really, because if you did you would see that Air intake systems, are no longer a hundred and a quarter, or two hundred bucks, I can say that 10 years ago thats what they once cost. I bought a K&N Intake for my 91 GMC 1500 5.7 Extra cab, for 199.99 at phlipps tires back in 95-96. So I know what they did cost before they were on every other import out there. But I did this I went on summit racing and printed out 3 different intakes and there specs, and Prices. From one of the lowest priced to Summits Highest priced Intake offered by K&N & Airaid. For some reason or another it won't let me upload the attachments, I'll post them on my gallery...if it will let me do that
