Hi John,

normaly there should be a engine check light in combination with the very loud beep sound. Does the engine check light work when you put ignition ON?

Oil pressure has nothing to do with oil level. Oil pressure is very important for the engine. More important than the right oil level. Take a look in the workshop manual and serach for oil pressure.

Because it's an SRT6 and the alarm sound comes up when you kick down: when was the compressor oil changed last time?

Regards
Markus

You say it's louder than the parking sensors, but have you tested them at a near-impact distance? Try having a mate walk very close to them and see if it makes the same noise.

If you've fitted any accessories which are causing RFI or if a sensor is loose, it could be "detecting" collision.

Give it a go and share your results.

Hi Artee

I do think you are correct I tried it pulling very close to the wall so instead of getting an intermittent bleep I made it go constant and because I have only recently got the car and only really heard the reversing parking sensors omit there bleep from the rear.

When the front goes off as a contastant bleep it is as loud and the same sound

will be getting the garage to look for me thanks all

Seem to recall that being mentioned before.....

NO its the front parking sensor alarm. You dont get to hear it go continuous unless you get that close you hit something!

My garage has puled the plug on it for a quick kill

it was located just behind the front vent

just for info, the rear still work as there independent of the front

regards john

So, are these parking sensors a unique OEM installation for the RHD cars or is this an aftermarket system?

And FUBU's mention of RHD roadsters being produced is in response to post 9 where the OP mentioned he didn't think that RHD roadsters were built.

That was three years ago, we've not seen him since.

I have owned three Crossfire Roadsters and I have NO CLUE what was going on.
