Default Euro charge problems

hey guys

So a little over 6 months ago i got the eurocharge tune for the crossfire and ran it on a old laptop that i had laying around the shop. Since then the laptop has gone to crap. i have a new laptop with windows 8.1 but cant seem to get the program to run. I have contacted eurocharge but have come up empty. I have tried there suggestion with disabling the firewall but no luck. sorry if this is the wrong section for this i couldnt think of anywhere to post it.

Thanks in advance

Tanner

Do you get any kind of error message? If so, can you post a screenshot?

You need to run the application in a compatibility mode. Right click the icon, then properties and then the options should be there and select Windows 7.

Try right clicking on it and running as administrator too... I've yet to see anything that runs on windows 7 that won't run on windows 8...

edit - you also may try disabling real-time protection in your antivirus (or in windows defender, depending on which you're using) *but make sure you re-enable it after testing or when you are finished*

It's been a while but I seem to remember using my wife's Windows 7 laptop in XP compatibility mode.
