New to forum. My brother has a 2006.

At cold start it seems to take off slow.

Once warmed up it appears to get stuck when you punch it, but then it will shoot.

Issue is sparatic. Does not leak any fluids, but assuming it needs a transmission flush.

Anyone know what might cause???

Also has a check engine light. Going to have that checked today.

 

You need to find out what the code is first to get some better answers.

 

get the code read... that isn't a transmission problem...it is a throttle problem. Could be as simple as a CPS replacement or a throttle body problem, but get the code read. I am assuming this isn't an SRT6...

 

Well he takes me on a test drive and the car runs fine. No engine light. I guess we will see what happens. Haha.

 

Well, sometimes it can be the start of a CPS, or Crankshaft Position Sensor, starting to go bad. Rough idle, hard starting, rough on take off.... It will show it's ugly head one day if that is the case. Less than a $40 fix and do it yourself kind of thing...there is a "how-to" on here if you need to do that...
