If you have problem with shifting gears 1st and 2nd on hot engine after minimal 10km trip I afraid that new oil helps not much. I see difference almost only on cold engine/transmission.
How much you paid for 1l MB oil?

It only does it when cold luckily. I paid $30 USD per liter. Thanks goodness it only takes two. I went to take care of the fluid swap over the weekend, but two of the four jack pads are missing.

I did some research on the forum and wanted to get an opinion on whether to buy the SLK320 ones or should I just be safe and get the Chrysler ones?

The Chrysler ones only exist in a Chrysler parts list that has the prices heavily marked up. The part itself only has a Mercedes part number on it, if you buy them from a Chrysler dealer you will get a part in a Mercedes labeled bag with a Chrysler part label stuck on top of the Mercedes label and pay heavily for that label.
They will have purchased the parts from the local Mercedes dealer themselves.

How many YEARS have we been telling people this? It would be easier to list the items on the car that are NOT SLK parts than those that are...
