multiple cylinder misfire with 110 octane
I went to the station when I normal get 4 gallons of 100 octane bit they were out so I tried 110 why did I do that top of third gear car misfires like crazy drive that has out go 93 still getting misfire code at top of third gear
ok after some thinking,oh srry about the prior post i was using my cellphone small keys, but i am tired of driving had a fresh full tank of 93 with fuel system cleaner put a 100 miles on the car still getting a multiple or random cylinder misfire,so i am just going to pull the sparkplugs and 02 sensors replace or clean will post results tomor
I've never run more than 104 before and I was slower when I tried it, but no misfires. If the 110 is unleaded the O2 sensors should be OK with it. Let us know how the plugs look.

if you still have your cats ,they may be a little clogged up making the ecu read a misfire, I have no cats and have run 110 without any problem,, yet my tune was NOT setup for it so my car went slower,, took almost 400 miles for it to clear itself,,,no plug or o2 change. just driving,,some slow, and some burst to a little over 100. but this in the V8 not the 6,,,,,,,,,,,, jim
I now only use 93.
I now only use 93.
Pulled and clean o2 sensors nasty buildup on them pulled cleaned regapped plugs only four months old ,checked wires coil packs cleaned maf sensor fill tank with bp 93 and two cans of seafoam, drove out half a tank woow no misfires and a little stronger. My tailpipes still look a tad bit funny purple blue hazy white guess that burning off the cat converters, going to run another can of seafoam, otherwise car is running great.
