here is what i said on the 10.99 post.
I am going to build 3 of them , if i had 3 people to deposit 1/2 and sent their diff as core , ((when i am ready for it)) I could get the price down to around 3200. I would be using , your rear cover, your yoke, snap rings and your tcu (reprogrammed) and with the parts i have i would put your core together so anyone with a limited who wanted better mpg with a 3.07 OH! + 60 or so shipping. this is pending that all goes well when i put it to the track test. jim

We are only building 4 units at this time, below who wants them.

here is what i came up with, now that one 3.46 diff is built.
You get 3.46 gears with wavetrac, and tcu ready to be installed into your crossfire.
the cost is $3200 for the diff with a tcu .. + $80 shipping
Core charges for your diff $300.00
core charge for your tcu $200.
if you want to keep your diff and tcu the price is $3700.00 + 80 shipping
you know the core charge is not much,, the tune on the tcu is is the cost not the tcu, the diff cost for a 3.07 is about 300 to 400. just though you would want to know..

hope to get the test under way next week , but i am going out of town the day after Christmas until the 6 of Jan. jim

no money at this time,,,,after testing then a despot will be needed.

1. amx1397 pd in full LOL.
2. gblack32. sending deposit.
3.
4.

of course we need a srt 6
27.1 tall-35-19 tires 295
rpm at 60 ==== 307 rear 2000 rpm =61mph ----with 3.27 rear =58mph

and we also need another v8 but with a 3.07

and i will post my v8's rpm
I will try and get out tomorrow and video the whole thing for you pausing at each 10 mph intervals. Since the mph is the "little" numbers on my dash I will let you decide the rpm at mph.

This is a spreadsheet I use to model my 6-speed. It will work for a 5 speed in lockup but would need a fudge for the flash factor in an unlocked automatics & relates to how loose the torque converter is.

For tire height and axle ratio only the top entry in each series needs to change. It does not include tire growth at speed but for very low profile tires it should not be much.

what a bad time of year to get a rear end installed.. from shops that let me do it myself at no cost.
first shop, has building problems and they have to move . so yesterday instead of working on the car ,we dismantled the dyno and two of the 4 lifts, to move to the new shop. no work on the car until after Jan. 10
second shop, flooded with repair work on customer's cars ans two mechanics took off for Christmas no work on my car until after the first of the year,,,but i am out of town until Jan 6.
what does this mean! it means the 3.46 diff will not be installed until after Jan.6 and then the testing will be for a few weeks so middle to end of Jan. i will have answers, also in the middle of this i have radiation treatment starting in Jan sometime. jim

It is
. Bought several years ago when I had a 6300 lb Vixen RV and needed one that could lift over 6k. Right around $2100 delivered & set up AFAIR.

Also has it's own platform so no rollers on the concrete like cheap ones. Since a normal one-story garage, I did not need more than a mid-rise & being portable means it's easy to put in any bay.

Today there is also the Atlas Kwik Bay which has very similar specs. Bend-Pac makes some but not in the capacity I needed except for double the price.

"but at 73 " - hey I resemble that remark.Remember Roger has a decade on both of us.

Can just raise a foot or two and use a regular creeper or 40" and use one of
these these
.

I usually drive lying down so might as well wrench the same way.

being that i am only making 4 units and one of those are for me , ,and no one has added their name to the list of 4 he is the next option
if you want to send a deposit,,,1/3 of of the price, bal + core would be as soon as testing is done .
$1000 deposit for 3.46 or 3.27 w/ wavetrac w/tcu your total cost would be $3200 + 80 ship,,+ core 300 for diff,,200 for tcu total 3780.00

send check to jim barnes

Cooper City, Fl. 33328
please send me your address, and phone number ,with the check and also send me your address and # in a email to amx1397@comcast.net thanks jim
