Windshield washer nozzel
Hello all,
My drivers side Windshield washer nozzel seems clogged. The left portion splits the spray some going over the roof some spraying downward totally missing the windshield. The right side of the drivers side nozzel doesn't work at all. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Bart

The nozzle can be snapped open and the nozzle cleaned, it can then be closed and the nozzles adjusted with a pin in the hole.
The nozzles snap open using the tab at the front, easy peesy. Taking out the tank, if required, would allow you to clean out that area, mine had small leaves and gunk that had come down the cowel drain hose. I cleaned and sprayed the area with a rust proofing, there was no rust but ......
If I opened that area again I would extend the drain hose to the outside more.
You can see the Crossfire Service manuals on this forum, they explain a lot.
If a pin doesn't work, which my bet is it won't, you'll need to remover the cowel, remove the nozzle and drill out the inlet from the jet tube connection area. The nozzles are heated and the plastic in the base of the nozzle melts. Once this happens, it won't allow water to flow through the jets. A small drill bit inserted and drilled through the connector will open up the plastic again and allow the fluid to flow through the jets. It's the only way to get them to work again, aside from buying new nozzles (which isn't necessary).

The heaters have been known to melt the plastic as you know.
