Hey Kyle, I'll give you a few things to start with. Check your battery cables for corrosion, not only at the battery posts, but at the grounding lug at the fender. You will definitely want to do a search here on the forum, for the RCM (RELAY CONTROL MODULE). An does your key fob work, locking an unlocking the doors ?
Welcome.
How long have you had your crossfire?
Have you done anything to it recently?
How is the battery in the remote?
Have you unhooked the battery waited 15 min the rehooked it up?
Be aware if you do that 15 times with no start the computer will self destruct.
You can also search the
Mystery no start.
Have you done the sticky key fix?
Or changed the batteries in remote rescently?
Would give seem issues.
Does it turn over at all?

This sounds like hte "Mystery no start" which is no mystery at all anymore.
Go to our tech section and look for "Mystery no start", the instructions are there to yank the RCM and reflow the solder on it.

Thanks for the replays guys. Will have a wee gander in the tech section re the mystery start issue. I had read briefly about that issue. I take it this is a common problem?😂
Oh. Wrong App lol.
.
Is that a FULL quell, or a QUARTER quell ??????
You don't have to raise the tail and jack in 9V to read my dogs chip..
You don't even pump it once?
I thought the battery, sustained the chip. Learned something today, for that..I thank you!

I'm posting on this thread rather than starting a new thread . . .
As I have not been running my Rescue Roadster very often, I put on a battery disconnect switch to keep the battery from getting run down. So . . . I switched the battery on today and found the car was in a "no crank / no start" condition. All power came on when you turn the key on but nothing happens when turned to the start position. Also the key fobs did not lock / unlock the doors (both FOBs were inactive).
I had remembered reading somewhere on the forum years ago that if the battery is disconnected and reconnected several times, the car will will think it's being stolen and shut down. To repair / reset this problem, I read to disconnect the RCM and reconnect it.
So . . . I disconnected the RCM and connected up a brand new one that I had in my parts collection. The car started right up and the key fobs were active again.
I know this problem is directly related to disconnecting and reconnecting the battery multiple times over the past several months. Can someone explain exactly what happens with doing that / why the car immobilized itself to a "no crank / no start" condition? Can this problem be avoided while still being able to disconnect / reconnect the batter over time??
Thanks for sharing your experience and expertise . . .
PS - I'm going back out to reconnect the original RCM and see if the car will start normally. I'll update this post shortly about that . . .
I replaced the original RCM and the car was back to a "no crank / no start" condition. So disconnecting / reconnecting the battery multiple times triggered something in the RCM to shut down. Can someone tell me what was shut down in there and how to reset it?
