Check the most reliable supplier for the Crossfire, NEEDSWINGS, they are active on our site. The down side of your request for all of the parts is quite low. Your not going to buy everything for that $400 or less.

BTW, what Crossfire model does your son have at this time?

Good Luck.....

Here's the link for ignition parts for your son's base model ($209 for wires, plugs and gauge) Coils @ $99.95 each and you need 6. Looks like $800+ for the parts...

The Crossfire is not a cheap car to work on, even the simplest of repairs.

Replacing the coils is a waste of money if they are not causing any problems and then only replace the faulty one not all of them.

I agree . . . I was just going to ask why he thinks that he needs to replace the coils?

If you suspect the coil packs........just move / swap them to see if the problem is associated with the coil or not. Id not replace them till I need to. Enjoy, Woody

BTW plain Crossfire is the same engine as a Mercedes SLK320 (M112 engine). OEM coils were made by Bosch like most of the electrics. Gap plugs at .8mm (.032").

I did plugs and wires at 100,000 miles on the Graphite - made a world of difference and got rid of my misfire and O2 codes. I went to Rob at Needwings for the parts.

Yea, I don't see a reason to replace coils at all.

Not to take anything away from Needswings, but you can order the coil packs from Amazon for $40/$50 less. Look up the packs for the MB SLK 320. They are the same. NeedsWings maybe high performance, unknown, but you ask them. They wires and spark plugs are excellent.

OK when trying to get the clips off the coil pack I broke the tabs to remove them how easy to replace the 3? Ignition pigtail connector is the best I could think of.

The plastic clip release gets brittle over time and they break very easily. You really don't need that clip but you can use a small cable tie to secure the connector to the coil pack if you wish.
