Engine Treatment
Get a bigger stereo
I use Lucas every other tank of fuel, but in the m112 engine, nothing in oil, been thinking about adding some seafoam for 2-400 miles before oil change.
My clicking is when it is cold.
Find me some cams at a descent price and I will pull valve covers off and fix it.
I run 5W40 Mobile 1 and my lifters are quieter. I tried 5W50, but at temperatures below about 55F, it is just too thick for a cold engine start - so I changed to the Daimler-recommended 5W40. Keep in mind that "0W40" sticker is ten or more years old now and that any MB or Chrysler dealer will put 5W40 in there, as that is what is recommended. 0W40 is approved, but 5W40 is recommended these days.
Of course, the injector clicking is never gonna go away.
Notice there are more 5W40s on the list than any other weight:

Soooo, are you saying it is approved to run rotella?
additives are different in 0w40 and 5w40 because 5w40 is diesel oil, that is why there are a lot more options, it is everywhere.
rotella can put 1,000,000 moles on a cat engine so why wouldn't it be good in ours?
I just always used Mobil 0w40.
And with these damn disposable engines, i want what i can get most mimes out of.
not like there are parts for these engines to make it worth rebuilding or upgrading...
