Default Sticky shifting

I just bought a 2005 crossfire convertible. 1st and second gears are sometimes difficult to get into. Downshifting from 3rd to second and second to 1st and just straight getting into second is sometimes hard to do. As I recall my 1st crossfire I bought back in 2005 did the same thing. Is this a common problem on all crossfires? or Im I just the lucky one?

I have an automatic, but from what I have read on this forum over 7 years, it is a very common thing.
Seems as it's the nature of the beast, rather than a mechanical issue.
Some report changing the fluid helped.

Thank you for that response. Ya that is kinda what I thought being as though my 1st crossfire did the same thing. Well the good news is I will save a lot of money by not having it repaired. Survivor
