Default Lost Power on Highway..Then took off again.. What Gives?

Please help! -- For reference, our car is a 04' base model - 125,000 miles - Recently purchased by us , the 3rd owners -

Here is our story. Last weekend on a rather long trip about 100 miles from home we are cruising on the interstate at 70mph. All of a sudden, I sense a "power loss" and say to my wife "something is wrong" .

So I signal, and begin to pull off to the side of the highway. As we coast along, losing speed, I notice the engine is actually still running at about 2000 RPM. As we slow to maybe 35-40 MPH, in the berm, suddenly the car begins to accelerate again...

So, I signal to reenter the highway, and we continue along without incident the final 100 miles. I ran it up in speed and RPM pretty good all the way home trying to recreate the issue to no avail. The car ran fine.

The entire event lasted maybe 30 seconds.

Any ideas? Throttle body? TPS? Fuel Pump? -

The car is running great, and we drove it this week locally, but I feel unsure about further trips until we resolve what might have happened.

Thanks in advance!

Gar

Also, a big thanks to this forum, I have already replaced my headliner and fan motor with your great instructions and information!
