Default Thermostat bolts torque spec???

The coolant flush "how to" just says "tighten housing bolts." Does anyone have the torque specs for the 2 thermostat bolts? I'm being forced to rebuild/clean my duo-valve because it's decided to become super-sticky in the last few days. If cleaning doesn't work a new one is only $154 so not the end of the world. I printed the "how to" and have a new T-stat plus 2 gallons of G-05 on hand. The only thing I need is the torque spec for the t-stat bolts and I'll get cracking. Thanks, Matt

Much thanks! Pulling off into a parking lot to whack the duo-valve is getting old. The first day it's not raining when I get home I'll get on this. Damn car acting up like this just cuz it's never had a coolant change in 14 years! Doesn't it know the meaning of LIFETIME and SEALED FROM THE FACTORY?

You should download the Service Manual in the Documentation thread, your question is answered there along with many other future ones.
