I am experiencing, what I (a novice) would call an, automatic transmission that misfires/skips/blanks out,
when I aggressively accelerate. Happens in the first 2-4 seconds w/2-3 skips then all is fine seemingly past 40 MPH or so.
When I accelerate normally....no problems.
Scary to say the least.
I have a 2005 Roadster LTD w/ 54000 miles on it.
I am a New owner and no other major problems in my 1200 mile experience with the car.
Thanks

First thing to check is the fluid level, then have a look at the electronic transmission connector and see if it is seeping.
If you detect seepage, check the TCM under the passenger footwell to see if the fluid wicked up to it.
Lastly, it could be a transmission conductor plate.
