Default Disconnect Battery Reset Items

Hi All, I'm doing the infamous sticky key fix today. Just curious what items reset to default due to disconnecting the negative battery terminal. I'm thinking it would be radio stations, door locks, trip odometer... Is there a list of items and how they default? Thx.

The pollution record is lost, so you have to drive to get them reset, there is a list of speeds and distances to achieve it in the shortest time. You will not pass any pollution test until they are reset.
Settings that can be changed like the door opening just one door or all doors will reset to the default setting.

Thanks all. Finished the sticky key fix. Everything went well thanks to the wonderful guidance from people on this forum. Can someone point me to the posts to reestablish the pollution record mentioned above? I searched but couldn't find the posts.

Oh, who knows? If you drive the car three or four times over a week long period, making sure to get the car warmed up fully and get to around 60mph for around ten minutes, I think you will have fulfilled the criteria.

I know with mine, it showed ready in three weeks (I was drivign it only on Saturdays or Sundays when it did not rain at the time). My BOSCH OBD reader I got at O'Reilly's for $60 shows in plain text when it is "ready".

Mine is a manual tranny too. Is a Bosch OBD 1000 Diagnostic Vehicle Scanner a correct OBD to provide pollution status? Thanks

Mine is an OBD1100 and it does. All you can do is plug it in and see if I/M monitors are in the menu. (Or, if you have not bought one, try to download the manual from their site.)

The general rule is 100 miles at different speeds including stop and go and freeway. I just go for a nice weekend drive for a couple of hours. They are fun to drive anyway.

I"ve read over and over it takes three complete cold-warm-drive-cool down cycles.

I do know that when the battery ran down on me last year, I put a new battery in and simply drove 15 miles to work three times over three days and it was ready.
(My drive was a mix of city and freeway driving and took 30 to 45 minutes one way.)

One simple drive did it for me. There may be three basic driving conditions each sustained over a particular time, but these are covered in the one time drive if done properly.
My first hand held, an Innova 3100, just bluntly indicated that something was still not reset, another time I used my BlueDriver and it stated each code that had to be reset, one drive did it.
