car alarm randomly activated
the other day I was hearing the high pitch sound outside it would come and go, it eventually just made the sound continuously that’s when I figured out it was the crossfire.
I disconnected the battery and the following day connected the battery back no alarm and it started up right away. I left the battery connected and in a couple hours the alarm was back at it.
Is it skreem or something else.

I had the same issue. It turned out it was the alarm itself. Maybe it was the battery inside the alarm, but when I totally replace the alarm, it stopped doing that. I suggest that you just bite the bullet and replace the alarm.

A few years ago I had the same problem and solved it by removing the siren. You will lose the lock/unlock chirps without the siren.
FYI You need a puller to remove the wiper arms. There's another thread that has guidance here on the BB.
