I have had a similar experience, but never a total loss of power. When peddle pushed down hard the car acted like my limited, not like a SRT6. I think it was caused in my case by the intercooling pump not running continuously.
Have you done anything lately repair/mod or anything that has to do with the supercharger?
No I haven t just started noticing this issue..
The IC pump should be running every tine the SC is running at the very least. Those original pumps broke too often and caused very poor performance. The new Bosch pumps part number ends with the numbers 010, the original was 002 I think.
No one never mention those two tiny wires coming from behind the supercharger magnet that will chafe and ground and blow the 3rd fuse in the fusebox next to the battery
I get the impression it runs at times so a fuse is not the problem.
Interesting.. Today, My supercharger would not kick in a couple times, but about half the time, it was fine. Can someone advise me the part number of the IC Pump, where is the best place to purchase it and instructions for installation.
Thank you for your help

Got the answer I was looking for. Amazing how well the "Search" button works.
We haven't put 1000 miles on the SRT in the last 2 years. I bought it for my wife 8 years ago and she loves it, so I'm getting it ready for her to drive more. Starting to do all the little "Fixes" so it will continue to be dependable. She messed up the suede on the seat bottoms trying to clean them, sooo getting new bottom cushions and fix that seat heater at the same time. Like most XFire owners, she keeps this car looking like new. It's my job to get it ready. and be dependable.
It is totally stock. Will someone please advise me the important fixes I need to do. I'm 73 and have to get my body moving so that I don't get old. Cars have been my hobby for 60 years, so I am pretty handy and not afraid to tackle anything. I'm a member of The Prowler Owners Association and it reminds me of the Crossfire group. Great people willing to help the friends we make because of our cars. Anybody in the Dallas area needing help or a place to stop over as you pass through.. Give us a shout. Thanks again for listening, Brad and Angie

On the same lines of the OP, I have a friend that has the SRT-6 that put the new style SC pump on and it only kicks on when warming up (open loop?) but once up to temp the SC will not kick in. Anyone guide me in the right direction on what to look for? Will the always on fix override this?

I have rewired my intercooler pump to run all the time which helps keep that coolant temperature down; My supercharger is there when I want it. I also have a temp gauge in the intercooler system and even with the pump continuously running the temps can get above 155F after a fast heavy run or in heavy traffic. Generally it runs about 33 degrees above ambient.
Is there anyway to monitor the IC temp other than adding the extra gauge that you have? I do have a gauge setup that I was using on my turbo car that monitor several parameters like boost, IAT, Load, etc. I was thinking I could monitor the IAT and go from there. thanks
