Upsolute Chip on its way
I took the ECU out and is now being shipped to Scott Ramsey in MA for the program. I was (still am nervous) with my computer out of the car. The removal was very easy, took about 10 minutes and that is only because instructions were not clear.
I'll keep everyone posted on the results.

Just to give everyone an update on the chip. My stock file has been uploaded to Upsolute headquarters in Austria and I am getting a custom tune for 93 octane. It has been confirmed by Upsolute HQ the 'stock program' is optimized for 91, so they will be creating a new tune for me based on 93.
Hope it comes back today then I'll get the chip back before Friday.

When I had mine done 3 weeks ago, I was told that it was optimized for 93 by several different people at the company. Where are you located? I just took my car to a local dealer 30 min away.

Did you notice a difference? I am in Pittsburgh, nearest dealer was in Jersey. They said a Pittsburgh rep is coming online but not for another 3 months.
I am also interested if you noticed a difference or not. I'm not sure how you would feel program optimization through a 6 speed. Please post when you get a chance. The closest Upsolute dealer is in Salt Lake City, and that is a bit of a ride, so I am really interested in your thoughts.
I had mine done, although I can't comment on the "93 octane" custom program. I was told by the distributor that the current file available is for 93 octane although it can run on 91.
Regardless of what is true or not, it seems that there is a bit of a communication problem with this company.
I have the Borla Exhaust installed as well. 04 Crossfire Limited. Do I notice a difference? (although not directed at me, i feel like more than one voice is good)
The "butt dyno" is a tough one to really be discernable with, especially when you are talking about a 10-20 hp potential gain on a car that already has close to 220 hp. I notice a difference in the car and it does seem to have a better pull. It seems apparent at 3500 to 4500 rpms (to me). However, I have yet to take it to the track to see what difference exists (if at all). I know another crossfire owner who has a complete stock. I badger him every day to take it to the strip. Hopefully I'll be lucky one day.

OK. I got back from Philly last night around 10 and decided what better than to re-install the ECU in my xfire.
I did the following steps and will summarize the information I found.
1. Reinstall ECU. Remember to mark the cables 1,2,3,4,5 when removing.
2. Turn key to 'on' position but do not start car, let go for a couple minutes. You can hear ECU working.
3. Turn car on and let idle for 5 - 10 minutes.
4. Turn her loose.
Immediate thoughts:
I did get a custom tune from HQ in Austria and all I can say is WOW!!! I am not one to take seat of the pants or 'butt dyno' information lightly, but the difference in the car is very noticeable. The 10 minutes I had her out last night was quite enjoyable. Since some people can't feel the difference, I will attribute my results to the custom tune.
Torque: This is the most noticeable. Run through the rev's much faster. I find the sweet shift point to be about 200 - 300 RPM before fuel shutoff.
HP: It is there when you need it. It should have come from the factory like this. I have a six speed not an automatic.
All in all for $450 (shipped it there) this was the best mod I have done to a car.

Yeah, I seemed to feel a difference around 60-100mph, definitely feels like it holds the acceleration more. I wonder if I've seen your car around Pittsburgh before...I got my car just over a year ago in May and I was out there last June and July by the U of Pittsburgh and saw another white one. Oh, and with all the "auto-shifting" I do with my 5-speed, I find that the shifting adapts all the time. When I first got the chip, it was different than what it is now. I'm still curious if mine is truly tuned for 93 or 91, because I always run on 94, so it would make sense to do a custom tune if it's 91 by default.

I work downtown, so it is possible you saw me driving around. I also live up in cranberry. I haven't gotten to drive my car again since, but I will tonight. I am getting married in 11 days and my life is a little busy right now.
I am a computer consultant and the noise was definitely 'electriconic' and coming from the same spot the ECU was put back in. So if it was not the ECU it was something within a few inches of it. It was a high pitched sound that lasted for about 2 minutes.
As far as chip is concerned if someone in Pittsburgh has the 'normal' tune, maybe we could get together and see if there is any difference.
